MLB…

Pittsburg blanked the Cardinals yesterday 5 – 0

The Cubs and Rangers were rained out

and the White Sox shut out the Blue Jays 7 – 0. 

NBA…

The Bulls beat the Wizards in their regular season finale 95 – 92 behind Carlos Boozer’s double-double.  Chicago will be a 5th seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs – 1st round action for the Bulls begins Saturday night versus the Nets. 

the 76ers beat the Pacers 105 – 95

the Heat won again while resting LeBron James, beating the Magic 105 – 93

the Bucks beat the Kevin Durant-less OKC Thunder 95 – 89

other NBA winners included:  LA Clippers, Toronto, Brooklyn, New York, Charlotte, Memphis, Dallas, Minnesota, Denver, Golden State, and a LA win and Utah loss allowed the Lakers to sneak into the Western Conference playoffs.

NCAA…

Michigan junior Tim Hardaway Jr. will enter the NBA draft.
Hardaway is the second member of the NCAA runner-up Wolverines to leave school early this spring for the NBA, joining consensus national player of the year Trey Burke.


NFL…
The Packers locked up star linebacker Clay Matthews with a long-term extension Wednesday, as they continue to negotiate with quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Schlarman beat Armstrong-Potomac 11 – 1

softball:

Schlarman beat A-P 11 – 1, as well.
