The Bulls tied up their first-round series with Brooklyn at one game a piece, beating the Nets 90 – 82. 

LA Clippers got by Memphis 93 – 91.


St. Louis beat Washington 3 – 2

Cubs lost to Cincinnati 5 – 4 in 13 innings…their 4th straight loss

White Sox lost to Cleveland 3 - 2

Blackhawks lost to Vancouver 3 – 1

Robin van Persie swept Manchester United to a record-extending 20th English league title on Monday, scoring a first-half hat trick in a 3-0 win over Aston Villa

Watseka beat South Newton 11 – 0

Schlarman got by Bismarck-Henning 7 - 6

Clifton Central took the double header from Iroquois West, 20-0 and 14-2

PBL beat GCMS 8 – 7

and Rylee Martin pitched a 2-hit shutout as Hoopeston Are blanked Oakwood 10 – 0.  Hailee Swinford had two hits and two RBIs for the host Cornjerkers, who got two RBI apiece from Kaelynn Longfellow and Aaliyah Colunga. Martin had eight strikeouts in the win.   


Cissna Park won their 2nd in a row, beating Armstrong-Potomac 16-1.  Beau Anderson led the way for the Timberwolves, going 2-4 from the plate with 3 RBIs and striking out 5 batters across 5 innings of work.  Devin Laubscher added 3 hits for the Cissna.

PBL 12 – GCMS 1

Iroquois West beat Clifton Central 4-2

Salt Fork over Milford 7 – 1

and Hoopeston Area beat Oakwood 4 – 1 behind Aiden Berg’s 13 strikeouts.  Conner Cline was 2 -3 with a double and 2 RBI’s.  Kendall Walder went 2-2 at the plate.
