Heat got by the Raptors 104 – 95.  Labron James scored in double digits for the 500th straight game – only the 5th player in NBA history to do that.

College Basketball…

Oklahoma State sophomore Marcus Smart was a unanimous selection to college basketball’s pre-season All-America team.  Smart is joined on the first team by seniors Doug McDermott of Creighton and Russ Smith of Louisville, sophomore Mitch McGary of Michigan and freshman Andrew Wiggins of Kansas.  Ohio State guard Aaron Craft was sixth in the voting

High School…

6 Cornjerkers were named to the VVC all-conference 1st team.  Chase Bouse, Trey Anderson, David Cornelius, Elijah Yates and Brennan Crose.  Nathan Michael and Andrew Samet were Special Mention, Cassidy Dixon Honorable Mention.
