LeBron James scored 32 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the Miami Heat ran away from the Indiana Pacers 99-76 in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference series on Monday night.  The Heat will play the San Antonio in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday in Miami. 

also… Jason Kidd announced his retirement Monday after 19 seasons.  The 10-time All-Star led the NBA in assists five times and finishes his a career second all-time in assists and steals behind John Stockton.

White Sox lost to the Mariners 4-2

Hall of Fame defensive end Deacon Jones passed away yesterday.  He was 74.

Big Ten….

The New York Yankee’s new college football bowl game the “Pinstripe Bowl” and the Big Ten have agreed to an eight-year partnership, it was announced Monday.  Starting in 2014, a team from the Big Ten will play an ACC team in the game to be held annually at Yankee Stadium.
