Florence M. Barker, 86, of Hoopeston, IL., passed away at 11:20 A.M., on Sunday, September 2, 2018,

 at Hoopeston Carle Regional Hospital.  She was born January 8, 1932 in Milford, IL., the daughter of James M. and Lizzie Ann (Osborn) Stebbins.  She married Ralph “Dick” Barker on July 2, 1949 in Danville, IL.  He preceded her in death on July 25, 1977.

She is survived by one daughter, Kathy (Charlie) Parker of Hoopeston, IL., one sister – in – law, Shirley Stebbins of Catlin, IL., ten grandchildren, seventeen great – grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Becky Zapata, one sister, two brothers, and one great - grandchild.

Florence was a housewife.  She attended the Chestnut Street Church of Christ for many years and loved her family dearly.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 7, 2018  at Floral Hill Cemetery.
