Donna Marie Gagnon, 70, of Rossville, IL, passed away at 11:11 A.M. Wednesday November 21, 2018 at Carle Hoopeston Regional Heath Center in Hoopeston. She was born October 11, 1948, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Leland and Gladys (Lewis) Turner. She married Kenneth Gagnon on October 21, 1966, in Rossville, IL. He preceded her in death on August 18, 2013.
She is survived by one daughter, Pamela Stevens of Rankin, IL; one son, Michael (Megan) Gagnon of Danville, IL; one brother, Duane (Linda) Turner of Rossville, IL; 7 grandchildren, Bodyn Gagnon, Maya Gagnon, Eric Bell, Jacob Mann, Miranda Williams, Dylan Stevens, and Nicholas Stevens; 3 great-grandchildren, Aryonna Rose, Avery Kenneth, and Brantley Chase and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She is also survived by very special friends, Cindy Shank Bell, Judy Rayfield, Vickie Danner, Nicole Mathews, Alandize, and Mya and her St. Bernard, Harvey St. Augustine Gagnon.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; and son-in-law, Allen Stevens.
Donna and her husband, Kenny, owned The Village Pub in Rossville for 10 years. She later worked in the cafeteria at Rossville-Alvin schools until her retirement. She loved walking her dogs and going out to eat, especially at McDonald’s. Donna also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated. A visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Friday November 30, 2018 at Anderson Funeral Home 427 E. Main St. Hoopeston, IL. The memorial service will follow the visitation and will begin at 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Kevin Purdy officiating. No burial will be held.
