Merana Ann Wagoner, 54, of Sibley, IL, passed away at 2:59 A.M. Friday June 18, 2021, at her home. 

 

 She was born August 29, 1966, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Walter Ray and Arminta Nelcena “Snookie” (Smith) Hollis.  She married Donald Wayne Wagoner and he survives in Sibley, IL.

 

She is also survived by 7 children, Billy (Kimberly) Thiele of Plano, IL, Bradley Wagoner of Hoopeston, IL, Ashley Tucker of Rankin, IL, Shannon Hinkle of Michigan City, IN, Shane Baker of Hoopeston, IL, Cheyenne Wagoner of Hoopeston, IL, and Toby Sartain of Gibson City, IL; one brother, Walter (Amanda) Hollis of Hoopeston, IL; one sister-in-law, Anita Perkins of Colorado; 24 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother-in-law, Kevin Perkins. 

 

Merana was a warehouse worker.  She later worked at Casey’s and was a homemaker.  She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, and camping.  Merana also enjoyed playing Bingo, euchre, and board games and spending time with her family and friends. 

 

Cremation rites will be accorded, and no services will be held.
