Doug Alan Musk, 62, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 9:54 P.M. Tuesday September 5, 2023, at Toulon Rehabilitation in Toulon, IL. He was born January 9, 1961, in Danville, IL, the son of William and Betty (Moore) Musk. They preceded him in death.
He is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Matt) Pelzman of Hanover Park, IL and Brianna Musk (David Brookwalter) of Danville, IL; one son, Joseph Musk (Mindy Stewart) of Sullivan, IL; two brothers, Dinty (Sally) Musk of Hoopeston, IL and David (Darlene) Musk of Cheneyville, IL; 11 grandchildren, Nicole, Jacob, Theodore, William, Willow, Waylon, Olivia, Brooklynne, David Jr., Madison, and Bjorn; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Cheyenne Nicholson, who was like family.
In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by his fiancée, Tammy Copas.
Doug was a plumber and owned and operated Musk Mechanical for several years. He was a member of the Hoopeston United Methodist Church and the Hoopeston Masonic Star Lodge #709. He enjoyed watching television, especially college wrestling, listening to music and model trains.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and no services will be held.
