Hoopeston Police Department Weekend Report May 19th-21st

Battery, Criminal Damage to Property (Under) H17-1580
Time:   1:55am
Location:   300 blk N 3rd St
Complainant:  22 year old Wellington male
Arrested:   Ryan Nosler (22) of Hoopeston
Details:   HPD officers responded to the lobby of the police department where the
  complainant advised that an altercation had occurred at the above location
  with Mr. Nosler.  Subject had allegedly punched out the window of the truck
  complainant was in.  Mr. Nosler came up to the police station to give his side of
  the story, and officers noticed cuts to his hand and forearm.  Mr. Nosler was
  arrested, processed and later released after paying appropriate bond.
 
Warrant Arrest H17-1590

Location: 301 W Main, Hoopeston Police Department
Arrested: Joseph Musk (33) of Hoopeston
Details: Subject turned himself in on an outstanding Ford County warrant for 
residential burglary.  He was extradited to Ford County.
 
Bike Found
Time: 10:37pm
Location: 623 N Dixie Hwy, Ford of Hoopeston
Details: An employee of Ford of Hoopeston found a silver bike behind the shop.
Owner can identify and claim at HPD.
 
Criminal Damage to Property (Under) H17-1601
Time:   4:07 pm
Location:   300 blk N Seventh Ave
Complainant:  47 year old Hoopeston female
Details: HPD officers responded to the above location after complainant advised that her swimming pool had been cut with a knife.  Investigation continues.  
 
Motor Vehicle Theft H17-1611
Date & Time: May 21, 2017    7:57am
Location: 600 blk S 3rd Street
Complainant: 43 year old Hoopeston male
Details: While on patrol officer came across a car out in the middle of
a field near 4000 North Road.  After contacting owner of
vehicle, he advised it was stolen sometime over the night.
 
Motor Vehicle Theft H17-1612
Date & Time: May 21, 2017   12:31pm
Location: 400 blk W Maple
Complainant: 37 year old Hoopeston man
Details: Complainant reported that sometime during the prior evening
unknown subject(s) took his Gry Hyundai SUV without his
permission.
 
Warrant Arrest H17-1615
Time: 5:50pm
Location: 400 Block E Honeywell
Arrested: Jason A Kinnard (40) of Hoopeston
Details: While on patrol, HPD Officers came in contact with Kinnard.  After running a computer check, two outstanding warrants were confirmed.  1 out of Iroquois County for a traffic offense, and a 2nd out of Tippecanoe Co, IN for a domestic offense.  He was taken to HPD, processed and then transported to the PSB to await extradition.
 
Fire Call/Illegal Burn (City Ordinance) H17-1616
Time: 7:03 pm
Location: 300 Blk W Chestnut
NTA Issued: Trinidad R Hernandez Jr (44) of Hoopeston
Details: HFD responded to the area for the report of a house on fire.  Upon arrival, it was found to be an illegal burn outside.  Hernandez was transported to HPD, processed and released after being given a city citation & court date.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Driving While License Suspended, Operating Uninsured Vehicle, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Methamphetamine H17-1617
Date & Time: May 21, 2017     7:54pm
Location: Main St/Market St
Arrested: Dakota J Hanlin (25) of Hoopeston
Arrested: Tasha Uppinghouse (26) of Hoopeston
Arrested: Aaron Cannon (25) of Hoopeston
Details: While on a routine traffic stop computer check revealed Mr. Hanlin did not have a valid Illinois drivers license.  Upon investigation subjects were charged with the above, taken to HPD, processed and later transported to the PSB.
