Hoopeston Police Department Report July 7-9, 2017

Obstructing Justice, Driving While License Revoked, Improper Lighting

Location: Route 1/McCracken Av
Arrested: Francis Briscoe (46) Danville male
Details: While on routine patrol, HPD officers stopped a vehicle in the area of the above
for only having one headlamp.  After much delay on the male subject in the vehicle
refusing to tell officers who he was, a computer check revealed that Mr. Briscoe’s
license was revoked.  He was arrested and taken to HPD for processing.  He was
later transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.

Location:   400 blk W Orange
Complainant:  46 year old Hoopeston female
Details:   At unknown time and date, several plants were taken from the above address
  by person(s) unknown.  An investigation continues.
 
Criminal Damage to Property (Under $300) H17-2395
Time:   1:37pm
Location:   900 blk E Young Ave
Complainant:  39 year old Hoopeston male
Details:   Complainant contacted HPD in reference to unknown subject(s) damaged a
  gazing ball in his front yard.  An investigation continues.
 
Wanted on Warrant H17-2401
Time: 12:15am
Location: 300 block of S. Market
Arrested: Shenoa Webb (25) of Hoopeston
Details: Officers responded to the above location for an unknown problem. Upon investigation the above female was ran through dispatch, and found to have a Warrant through Vermilion County. Webb was taken to HPD, processed, and later released with a new mandatory court date.

Location: 700 block E Thompson Ave 
Complainant: 67 year old Hoopeston man 
Details: The complainant reported that person(s) unknown and without permission had damaged to his pool.   
 
Criminal Damage to Property (Over $500) H17-2410
Time: 5:34pm
Location: 700 block of S. First Ave 
Complainant: 59 year old Hoopeston female
Details: The complainant contacted HPD when she realized the person(s) unknown 
had slashed her tires. Investigation continues
