Location: 500 block E Main Street 
Details: Blue boys 10 speed bike was found in the back yard of a house..
Owner may claim said bike at Hoopeston Police Department.

Unit #1: 2005 Pontiac G6 driven by Lori Linares (35) of Hoopeston
Unit #2: 2008 Chevy van driven by Rosetta Strawser (29) of Hoopeston
Details: Unit 1 struck Unit 2 while it was parked in the 500 blk S. 4th Street.
No injuries reported.  No citations issued

Unit #2: 2002 Honda Van owned by Janet Bogard of Hoopeston
Details: Unknown vehicle struck Unit 2 while it was parked and unattended
at the above location.
 
Criminal Trespass to State Property; Possession of Controlled Substance; Possession of Methamphetamine H17-4716 V17-10721
Time: 10:01pm
Location: 400 E Honeywell Ave
Arrestee: Kurtis Simpson (32) of Hoopeston
Details: Officers were called in reference to Mr. Simpson who was known to be banned from the above location. Officers made contact with Simpson and charged him with the above. Simpson was taken to HPD where he was processed and later transported to the PSB.

Complainant: 46 year old Hoopeston Woman 
Details: At the above time and date, the complainant contact Hoopeston Police reference to unauthorized use of her credit card.  Investigation continues.  
 
 
 Wanted on Warrant (VC) H17-4725
Time: 10:07AM  
Location: 700 S 1st Ave
Arrestee: Ambrosio Ybarra (M) (20) of Rossville 
Details: At the above time during a traffic stop the subject was located taken into custody on the Vermilion County 2015CM191 FTA 300 cash bond plus $75 FTA Fee.  Subject transported to HPD Processed and released.  Given new court date to Danville.  
 
Residential Burglary H17-4728

Date Occurrence: between Oct 31, and November 9th, 2017
Complainant: 52 year old Milford Resident 
Details: It was reported that several items were removed from the residence without permission of the owner.   Investigation Continues 
 
Wanted on Warrant (Owen Co, IN) H17-4731 V17-10740
Time: 5:30 pm
Location: 600 blk E McCracken
Arrestee: Richard Jenkins (41) of Hoopeston
Details: Officers were dispatched to the above in reference to a possible dispute. A 
computer check revealed the above male had a warrant through Owen County,
Indiana. He was transported to HPD, processed, and transported to the PSB
to await extradition. 
 
Aggravated Battery H17-4759    V17-10778
Time: 03:35 am
Location: 500 S Sixth Avenue, Parkview Court Apartment Complex
Complainant: 17 year old Hoopeston Female 
Arrested: Stewart, Kendall A (22) (M) of Hoopeston 
Details: Hoopeston Police were summoned to the area for an altercation that had taken place.  Victim reported injuries and had to be transported to Carle Hoopeston Hospital.  Male was taken into custody on the above charge.  Transported to PSB Danville to await arraignment.  
 
Warrant Arrest H17-4771
Time: 9:40pm
Location: Market/Maple
Arrested: Rashaid Burke (27) Danville male
Details: HPD officers stopped Mr. Burke on a traffic violation.  A computer check 
revealed that subject had an outstanding warrant through Vermilion County.
He was arrested, taken to HPD and processed.  Subject was later released after
paying bond and given a new court date.
 
Unlawful Use of Weapon, Unlawful Possession of Weapon by Felon, IL DOC Warrant
H17-4773 V17-10801
Time: 11:45pm
Location: 200 blk S Market
Arrested: Dakota Hanlin (25) Rossville male
Details: HPD officers received report that there was a male subject in the area armed with
a weapon.  Upon making contact with Mr. Hanlin, a search was performed and
a weapon was located on his person.  He was arrested and taken to HPD.  IL DOC
issued a warrant for his arrest, and he was later taken to the PSB in Danville to
await arraignment.
