Details:    At the above location and time, HPD and Arrow responded to report of a Traffic Accident with injuries.  Patient for Arrow refused treatment.    Knuth’s responded and towed one unit from scene.   

 

Vehicle Accident (Hit and Run)(Solved)                       H18-6591

Location:    200 blk N Market St

Unit #1:       1995 Toyota Avalon driven by Unknown, owned by Pam Kitchens of Hoopeston

Unit #2:       2007 Ford Focus parked and unoccupied, owned by Daniel Conner of Hoopeston

Details:       Unit #1 was traveling northbound on Market St, crossed the center line and

                   struck Unit #2 while parked in a driveway.  Unit #2 was pushed by Unit #1 into

                   the neighbor’s yard before coming to a stop.  Driver of Unit #1 exited the vehicle

                   and left the area before officers could arrive on scene.  Both vehicles were towed

                   from scene.  An investigation continues.

   Unit 1 Driver Located:      Lacy D Simpson (F) (30) of Hoopeston

    Unit 1 Driver Cited:   1.    Failure to Report an Accident

                                      2.    Driving While Driver’s License Suspended

                                      3.    No Valid Proof of Insurance

          Subject was released with mandatory court date issued for Danville Court House.

Time/Date of Arrest: 12/7/18 @ 10:05pm

Complainant:  30 year old Rossville female

Arrested:        Allen Bogard (44) (M) of Hoopeston

Details:          HPD officers were dispatched to the above location for a disturbance.  The

                      suspect had left prior to officers arrival.  Subject was later found,

   arrested and taken to HPD for processing.  He was released with a city citation       

   and  city court date.

Details:                 Manager reported unknown person(s) Spray painted graffiti on

                             in dumpster area.

 

 

Possession of Cannabis (City Ordinance)            H18-6688

Time:                    05:17 pm

Location:              400 blk W. Orange

Arrested:              Terrance Irvin (25) of Hoopeston

Details:                 Officers responded to the above in reference to a disturbance. While speaking to Irvin, officers detected a smell of cannabis. Irvin was discovered to have cannabis on his person. He was transported to HPD where he was processed and released with a city NTA.
