Details:        At above time HFD, HPD and Arrow responded to report of strong odor of electrical at the residence.   No fire found or detected. All units cleared and no injuries.

Details:       HFD responded to the above in reference to an illegal burn.

 

Traffic Accident            H19-1230

Time:          3:13pm

Location:    4^th St/ Lincoln

Unit #1:       2006 Toyota Utility driven by Thesha Shackelford of Hoopeston

Unit #2:       2016 Chevrolet Utility driven by Chelsea Rutledge of Hoopeston

Details:       Unit #1 was beginning to drive southbound as Unit #2 was turning southbound onto S. 4^th St causing them to collide. No injuries reported. No citations issued.

                   Both units insured.

 

Illegal Burn (city ordinance)            H19-1238

Time:          8:22pm

Location:    400 blk S 3^rd St

Arrested:     Amelia Young (23)(F) of Hoopeston

Details:       HFD and HPD were called to the report of a possible structure fire.  Ms. Young

                   was arrested when it was found that she was burning inside of her garage.  She

                   was given an NTA for city court and released on scene.

 

Illegal Transportation of Alcohol, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (city), Possession of Cannabis (city)              H19-1239

Time:          9:59pm

Location:    710 W Orange, Budget Mini Storage

Arrested:     Lonnie Davis (44)(M) of Hoopeston

Details:       HPD received a report of subject spinning tires at the above location.  Upon

                   investigation cannabis, drug paraphernalia and open alcohol was located inside

                   the vehicle.  Mr. Davis was arrested and taken to HPD to be processed. He was

                   later released with traffic citation and traffic court date and 2 city citations with

                   city court date.
