Location:      20000 E 3850 North Rd Hoopeston

Details:       At the above time resident came home to strong odor in the home of wires smoldering.  HFD was dispatched to investigate the issue.   No report of damage, Cause was a faulty hot water heater malfunction. 

 

 

Warrant Arrest, Driving While License Suspended               H19-4167   V19-6497

Time:          8:54pm

Location:    2^nd Ave/W. Maple St

Arrested:     Dustin Loveless (37) Rankin Male

Arrested:     Kenneth Armstrong (41) Champaign Male

Details:       HPD officers stopped the vehicle that Mr. Loveless was driving on a traffic

                   violation.  A computer check revealed that his driver’s license was suspended. 

                   He was arrested and taken to HPD to be processed.  He was cited for Driving

                   While License Suspended, Operating a Vehicle with Expired Registration and

                   Improper Display of License. He was given his citations with a traffic court date

                   and released.  The passenger, Mr. Armstrong had an outstanding Vermilion

                   County warrant.  He was arrested and taken to HPD to be processed.  He was

                   later transported to the PSB in Danville in lieu of bond.
