Vermilion County Case Counts
We are reporting 18 new cases today (three residents in their 70s, three in their 50s, one in their 40s, five in their 30s, three in their 20s, two teens, and a grade-school-aged child), and 12 released, which brings us to a total of 9,039 positive cases.
We are saddened to report three more COVID-related deaths -- a woman in her 80s, and two men in their 70s. Our sympathies go out to their families and friends. We have lost a total of 131 Vermilion County residents to COVID-related deaths since this pandemic began.
There are currently five Vermilion County residents with COVID hospitalized. There are currently 82 active COVID cases in the county. We have received 130,145 negative test results.
