Hoopeston Police Report 11/9/23

Warrant Arrest H23-6238 Time: 12:06am Location: 3400 North/470 East Rd Arrested: Ronald Howie (M) (31) of Potomac Details: HPD attempted to stop the vehicle Mr. Howie was driving, then he attempted to elude officers westbound on Route 9. After a chase, subject finally stopped at the above location. A computer check revealed he had an outstanding Vermilion County warrant and a suspended driver’s license. He was issued several tickets including speeding 115/55, operating uninsured vehicle, disobeying traffic control device X 2, aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude police officer, driving while license suspended, drives any vehicle with a willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property, unlawful display on vehicle of license plate. Subject was transported to the PSB to await arraignment.

 

Fire Call Time: 7:57 pm Location: 200 North Rd in Iroquois County Details: HFD responded to a residential fire alarm.

 

Speeding H23-6265 Time: 11:35pm Location: S Dixie Hwy Cited: James Miller (30) (M) of Hoopeston Details: HPD officers stopped the motorcycle Mr. Miller was driving for a traffic violation. He was issued a ticket for speeding 78/55, given a traffic court date and released from scene.
