Details: HPD stopped the vehicle Ms. Mays was driving for a traffic violation. An investigation

made officers believe she was under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested and

taken to HPD to be processed. She was later released with 4 traffic citations and a

Vermilion County court date.

Reckless Driving, Leaving scene of accident H24-0343

Time: 3:43PM

Location: 700 blk of E Elm St

Unit 1: 2004 GMC driven by 16yr old male of Hoopeston

Unit 2: 2017 Chevrolet Impala parked and unoccupied by Levi Stebbins (28)(M) of Hoopeston

Details: Unit 1 was turning a corner at S 6th St and E Elm when he lost control of his vehicle and

struck Unit 2. Driver of Unit 1 then fled the scene and did not report the accident. After an

investigation, HPD officers met with the driver of Unit 1. He was given 2 citations and

released with a Vermilion County court date.
