Terry Lee Weathers, 75, of Bismarck, passed away at 10:43 a.m. Friday. August 31, 2018, at Carle Foundation Hospital, in Urbana.

Terry was born on October 7, 1942, in Penfield, Illinois, the son of Russell and Dorothy (Kirby) Weathers.  He married Mary Moulden on March 2, 1963, in Potomac.  She survives.

He is also survived by two daughters- Doris (Mike) Pundt of Bismarck and Deanna (James) Whitlow of Potomac; one son- Andy Weathers of Bismarck; five grandchildren- Kayla (Rob) Harrier, Brandon (Katie) Pundt, Katie Whitlow, Chyanna Pundt and Jake Whitlow; five great-grandchildren; three sisters- Marneda Mackiewicz of Danville, Donna Brown of Tolono and Sharon Benny of Moberly, MO; his favorite dog- Ezmay; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers- Ronald Weathers, Dwayne Weathers, Dwight Weathers and Mike Weathers, and one sister- Bonnie Foster.

Terry worked at Hyster, in Danville, for over 30 years.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, decorating for Christmas and spending time with family.  If you were a friend of Terry's you knew it, and once you were his friend you were always his friend, especially if you were a fisherman. 

A Celebration of Terry Lee Weather's Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2018, at the Blurton Funeral Home, in Potomac, with Pastor Sally Swaim officiating.  Following the services he will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.  The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home to assist them in honoring Terry's life.  Memories or photos may be shared with the family on his everlasting memorial page at:  www.BlurtonFuneralHomes.com.
