Diana L. Dukes, 68, of Rossville, IL, passed away at 3:10 P.M. Thursday October 18, 2018 at Colonial Manor in Danville, IL.  She was born January 11, 1950, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Harold and Mary Irene (Hollen) Dukes. 

She is survived by one brother, Randy Dukes of Rossville, IL; one niece, Abby (Ramon) Caraballo; one nephew, Kris Dukes; two special great-nieces, Alexis Staley and Baily Wooten; and one special great-nephew, Devin Caraballo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Richard Dukes, and an infant brother, Larry Wayne Dukes.

Diana worked doing senior home care for many years and had previously worked in the kitchen at Danville Care Nursing Home.  She attended the Rossville Church of Christ, where she did volunteer work.  She also volunteered at the Antioch Church of Christ.  Diana enjoyed quilting and sewing.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday October 25, 2018 at Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston, with Pastor Kevin Purdy officiating.  Burial will follow.

Memorials may be made to Diana’s family or to the donor’s choice.
