Stanza Renae Norton, 56, of Rossville, IL, passed away at 3:45 P.M. Wednesday March 27, 2019 in Champaign, IL.  She was born August 29, 1962 in Omaha, NE, the daughter of Gerald and Karen Sue (Wells) Evans.  She married Mark Norton on May 25, 1985 in Watseka, IL.  He survives in Rossville.

She is also survived by her parents; three sons, Andrew (Kimberly) Norton of Danville, IL, Adam Norton of Rossville, IL, and Masen Norton of Rossville, IL; one sister, Jamee (Todd) Thrush of Vancouver, WA; one brother, Rod (Maureen) Evans of Leroy, IL; 6 grandchildren, Kelsey Keith, Chase Norton, Ethan Norton, Samuel Norton, Masie Norton, and Weston Norton; three great-grandchildren, Kinley Keith, Ryder Keith, and Alec Keith; one niece, Drew Thrush and one nephew, Camden Thrush.

Stanza was a pharmacy tech at Carle pharmacy for 15 years.  She enjoyed taking care of her cats and especially loved spending time with her grandkids.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a visitation will be held 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Monday April 1, 2019 at Anderson Funeral Home 427 E. Main St. Hoopeston, IL.  A memorial service will follow the visitation and will begin at 7:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Milton officiating.  Burial will be held at a later date.
