Tammy L. Boen, 61, of Rossville, IL, passed away at 3:06 P.M. Tuesday May 28, 2019 at Carle Hoopeston Regional Health Center. She was born October 26, 1957, in Forrest, IL, the daughter of George and Beverly (Houser) Swartz.  She married Stephen Boen in Rossville, IL, on March 7, 1981.  He survives in Rossville, IL.

She is also survived by two sons, Stephen (Heather) Boen of Westville, IL and Christopher (Kristen) Boen of Rossville, IL; one sister, Trudy (Terry) Compton of Flatville, IL; and three nieces, Nickole Swartz, Angela Strawser, and Acelynn Swartz.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Pamela Swartz.

Tammy was a homemaker, caring for her family.  She enjoyed playing bingo, attending family cookouts and spending time with her family.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday June 3, 2019 at Bethel Cemetery in rural Alvin, IL, with Pastor Gary Milton officiating.
