Cynthia Mae Miller, 69, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 9:10 A.M. Thursday December 5, 2019 at her home.  She was born June 25, 1950, in Denver, CO, the daughter of Walter E. and Violet Francis (VanGilder) Parent.  She married Tony G. Miller on November 9, 1968, in Saginaw, MI. He survives in Hoopeston.

She is also survived by two daughters, Michelle (Daniel) Maxwell of Hoopeston, IL and Tracy (Dustin) White of Hoopeston, IL; one son, Tony Miller of Hoopeston, IL; four sisters, Donna (Joe) Stienhafle of Huntley, IL, Abby (Kevin) Bosi of Atlanta, GA, Rosalee (Thomas) Obermeyer of El Paso, TX, and Susan (William Busse) Parent of Birchwood, WI; four brothers, Walter (Charlene) Parent of Birchwood, WI, Joseph (Treasa) Parent of MI, James (Paula) Parent of IL, and Robert (LaTia) Parent of Illinois; eight grandchildren, Haley Edwards, Colton Maxwell, Chevelle and Jameson White, and Joshton, Eathen, Lauren, and Kevin Swartz; three great-grandchildren, Alaya, Alana, and Ava; and 46 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.   

Cynthia ran Grandma Cindy’s Daycare from her home for over twenty years.  She enjoyed fishing, bowling, and spending time with her family.

Cremation rites will be accorded.  A visitation will be held 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Sunday December 8, 2019 at Anderson Funeral Home 427 E. Main St. Hoopeston, IL.  A memorial service will follow the visitation and will begin at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home, with Pastor David Bowen officiating.  A luncheon will be held at the Hoopeston VFW following the service.  Burial will be held at a later date.
