Tonya Franklin, 51, of Jasper, TX, formerly of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 12:56 P.M. Friday March 27, 2020 in Lufkin, TX.  She was born August 15, 1968 in Danville, IL, the daughter of Jerry and Viola (Garrett) Franklin.  Her father survives in Lebanon, TN.

 

She is also survived by her daughter, Brooke Perry of Hoopeston, IL; one sister, Teresa Franklin Ward of Lebanon, TN; and one niece, Nicole Hill of Lebanon, TN.

 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Viola Franklin.

 

Tonya enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.

 

Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
