Shirley Ann Davis, 75, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 10:03 A.M. Monday May 4, 2020 at her home in Hoopeston.  She was born March 19, 1945, in Hoopeston, IL, the daughter of Paul and Ann (Garrison) Robinson Sr. 

She is survived by one son, James “Jimmy” Davis of Hoopeston, IL; one brother, Paul (Connie) Robinson Jr.; one niece, Kaitlin Robinson; and one nephew, Shaun Robinson.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Shirley worked at Scranton’s which later became Gulbransen and then CBS in Hoopeston.  She later worked at the Downtown Motel until her retirement.  She had previously attended the Hoopeston United Methodist Church.  Shirley enjoyed watching professional wrestling, games shows, and Little House on the Prairie.

Cremation rites will be accorded.  Due to the current health concerns, a private family graveside service will be held.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or to the Hoopeston Animal Shelter.
