Barry Lee Huffman, 65, of Rossville, IL, passed away at 7:20 P.M. Thursday May 7, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. He was born September 26, 1954 in Danville, IL, the son of Robert D. and Shirley (Huffman) Allison. He married Sherlyn Stone on November 27, 1987 in Rossville, IL. She survives in Rossville.
He is also survived by one daughter, Kristina Nicole (Chris) McTee of Orange Park, FL; one sister, Michele Pickett of Hoopeston, IL; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and 2 nieces, Ashley Pickett (Montez) and Alexis Deverick.
He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Adam Huffman; grandparents; parents; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
Barry served in the United States Navy from 1975-1979. He worked at Schumacher Electric in Hoopeston and then at Naaco. He later worked at Quaker, which became Pepsico, for several years before his retirement. He enjoyed watching television, going camping with his Circle of 42 friends, and spending time with his family and friends. Barry was a fun-loving guy who was known for his quirky sense of humor.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and no services will be held.
