Teddia Lynn Salter, 63, of Danville, IL, passed away at 12:27 A.M. Thursday May 7, 2020 at her home.  She was born May 24, 1956, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Ted Eugene and Sarah Frances (Gilpin) Gauges.  She married Steven Wayne Salter on June 11, 1975 and they had one son, Jeremy Shane “Bubba” Salter who survives in Danville, IL. 

 

She is also survived by many others that called her “Momma”, especially Kelly Gonzalez and Michael Milburn; one niece, Lea (Therese) Myers; one nephew, Frankie (Tammy) Pierce; two great-nephews; and several great-great-nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law, Pauline Pierce-Rison and Al Rison.

Teddia worked as a caregiver doing home care and house cleaning.  She enjoyed listening to 1950’s music, Harley Davidson clothing, crafting, and cooking.  She also enjoyed baking wedding cakes and birthday cakes and gardening. Teddia could do almost any task.

 

Cremation rites will be accorded, and no services will be held.
