Dawn Lynn Mullen, 59, of Milford

Dawn Lynn Mullen, 59, of Milford passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born November 14, 1960 in Watseka, the daughter of Harvey “Sonny” Haxton and Janice (Krueger) Rogers and they preceded her in death in addition to her step-father, Alfred Rogers; one brother, Charlie; and one brother-in-law, Ronnie Woodby.

She is survived by one son, Brandon (Heather) Mullen of Lafayette, IN; one daughter, Myndi (Jason) Mennenga of Milford; five grandchildren, Allyssa Mullen, Meeya Mennenga and Lyla Mennenga all of Milford, and Sparrow and Osprey Mullen of Lafayette, IN; one brother, Steve (Dawn) Haxton of Wisconsin; three sisters, Debbie (Ron) Johnson of Milford, Terri Woodby of Milford and Kim (Terry) Longfellow of Hoopeston; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Ms. Mullen was a member of the Milford Christian Church. Dawn had been employed by Casey’s General Store in Milford for several years before her illness. She loved being with her family and loved her grandchildren dearly. She enjoyed her children’s sports throughout their years in school.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 28, 2020 at the Milford Christian Church. Rev. Brent Zastrow and Rev. Neil Larimore will officiate. Burial will follow at Sugar Creek Cemetery in Stockland.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at the Milford Christian Church and 1 hour prior to the service also at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Milford Ambulance or Donor’s Choice.

Arrangements are by the Knapp Funeral Home in Milford.
