Robert “Bob” Wayne Strawser, 88, of Rossville, IL, passed away at 1:40 A.M. Tuesday October 13, 2020 at Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Living in Hoopeston.  He was born November 26, 1931, in Ross Township, IL, the son of Daniel Earl and Pauline Evangeline (Carrier) Strawser.  He married Norma Jean Isley on December 26, 1953 at the Church of Christ in Bismarck, IL and together they enjoyed 61 years of marriage.  She preceded him in death on January 4, 2015. 

He is survived by one daughter, Shirley Daulton of Lafayette, IN; three sons, Gary (Lee Ann) Strawser of Hoopeston, IL, Larry Strawser of Peoria, AZ, and Jerry Strawser of Clyde, TX; two sisters, Ruth (Howard) Brazel of Rossville, IL and Cathy (Robert) Simpson of Hoopeston, IL; 5 grandchildren, Amos Daulton, Heidi Goble, Susan Goble, Sara Garcia, and Kayla Strawser; 15 great-grandchildren, Payton and Emma Daulton, Libbie, Annabelle, and Madalyn Goble, Shania, Kayla, and Seth Goble, Matalyn, Haley, Lucas, Joshua Garcia, Skylyn Chatman, and Korbin Rasmus; one great-great-granddaughter, Meela Mae Hall; and 18 nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Linda Goodrum and Martha Bell; two brothers, Charles and Richard; and son-in-law, Terry Daulton. 

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday October 16, 2020 at Rossville Cemetery in Rossville, IL, with Rev. Gary Milton officiating.
