Theodore Gene Huls, the 9-month-old infant son of Lane and Theresa (Samet) Huls of Hoopeston, IL, passed away peacefully surrounded by lots of love at 2:52 P.M. Monday January 11, 2021 at his home. He was born April 3, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.
He is survived by two brothers, Oliver and Emerson Huls of Hoopeston, IL; maternal grandparents, Dan and Dawn Samet of Rankin, IL and paternal grandmother, Melissa Judy of Rantoul, IL; great-grandparents, Ralph and Sandy Samet, Gary Judy, and Brenda Gaither and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Melva Judy.
A public visitation will be held 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Thursday January 14, 2021 at Anderson Funeral Home 427 E. Main St. Hoopeston, IL. Please be considerate of others as only ten people will be allowed inside the funeral home at a time and we kindly ask that face coverings be worn, and social distancing is maintained by those who attend the visitation. A private funeral service will be held and burial will be held at Wallace Chapel Cemetery in rural Potomac, IL.
