Joshua Joseph “Skunk” Edwards, 43, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 11:14 A.M. Sunday April 11, 2021, in Danville. He was born November 6, 1977, in Danville, IL, the son of Terry and Sharon (Czeiszperger) Edwards.  His father survives in Hoopeston. 

He is also survived by one daughter, Katie Edwards of Fultondale, AL; one son, Joseph A. Edwards of Alvin, IL; two sisters, Lainey Brown of Escondido, CA and Tammy (Carroll) Jerome of Hoopeston, IL; two brothers, Terry Edwards of Maui, HI and Jeremiah Edwards of Bloomington, MN; and five nieces and nephews, Allison Brown, Emily Brown, Lena Edwards, Lilly Jerome, and Terry Edwards. 

He was preceded in death by his mother in 2017. 

Josh worked for the Roofers Local 97 for over 20 years.   

Cremation rites will be accorded, and a celebration of life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday April 24, 2021, at the Girl Scout House in McFerren Park in Hoopeston.  A private family burial will be held at a later date.
