Darin A. Cline, 53, of Wellington passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Carle Hoopeston Regional Health Center. He was born on January 15, 1968, the son of Billy W. and Wanda (Verkler) Cline. Darin was preceded in death by his father, Billy.

Surviving are his three children, Connor Cline (Samantha Vaughn) of Danville, Madison Cline (Coltyn McNelly) of Wellington, and Caden Cline of Wellington; his mother, Wanda Cline of Cissna Park; one sister, Dee Ann (Toby) Schippert of Watseka; nephew, Logan (Jackie) Schippert of Chatham; niece, Megan Schippert of Watseka; and special friend, Sandra Cordova of Wellington.

Mr. Cline enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing music with his son, Caden. He knew just about every farmer in Iroquois and Vermillion Counties as he was in the farm chemical business his whole life. Darin was a top seed corn salesman for several different companies throughout his career. He loved traveling, especially with two of his best friends, Scott Shipman and Pedro Zarate. Darin loved listening to music and spending time with his kids.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Knapp Funeral Home in Cissna Park. Rev. Tom McCann will officiate. Private interment will take place at a later date at Cissna Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Knapp Funeral Home in Cissna Park and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
