Bonnie J. Goodrich, 75, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 10:30 A.M. Friday June 18, 2021, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.  She was born September 26, 1945, in Merced, CA, the daughter of Bernard and June (Swartz) Jeffers.  She married Alan Goodrich on January 23, 1971, at the family home in Wellington, IL.  He preceded her in death. 

She is survived by one daughter, Kari Goodrich of Allen, TX; one sister, Bernadette (Paul) Bruner of Texas; her grand-dogs, Shadow and Pixie Goodrich; and many special nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, John Jeffers. 

Bonnie worked at the Wellington State Bank, which later became Community Bank, as the branch manager until her retirement.  She was a member of the Wellington United Methodist Church where she also volunteered doing various activities.  She enjoyed bargain shopping, traveling with her daughter and sister, and going out to lunch with family and friends. 

A visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. -12:00 P.M. Saturday July 10, 2021, at Anderson Funeral Home 427 E. Main St. Hoopeston, IL.  The funeral service will follow the visitation and will begin at 12:00 P.M. Saturday July 10, 2021, at the funeral home with Larry Baughn officiating.  Burial will follow in Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston. 

Memorials may be made to the Wellington United Methodist Church or the Wellington-Greer Fire Dept.
