Eric James Bell, 54, of Rossville, IL, passed away at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday August 11, 2021, at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, IL.  He was born December 7, 1966, in Danville, IL, the son of Robert Norton and Pamela Bell.   

He is survived by his mother, Pamela Bell of Rossville, IL. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Norton. 

Eric attended the Church of God in Alvin, IL.  He enjoyed bowling, participating in the Special Olympics, and going out to eat with his mom.  He also loved watching the Chicago Cubs and listening to them on the radio. 

A visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Tuesday August 17, 2021, at the Alvin Church of God 109 South St. Alvin, IL 61811.  The funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday at the church, with Pastor Dan Hunt officiating.  Burial will follow in Mann’s Chapel Cemetery in rural Rossville.
