David Wayne Trueblood, 72, of Casey, IL, formerly of Covington, IN, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 at 3:35 A.M. at Heartland Senior Living in Neoga, IL. He was born December 1, 1948, in Lafayette, IN, the son of Harold and May (Voyles) Trueblood.
He is survived by one daughter, Lisa Trueblood (Fiancé Chris Gardner) of Casey, IL; two sons, Mike (Brandy) Trueblood of Washington, IN and Brian (Nikki) Trueblood of Hoopeston, IL; one sister Jacqueline (Dennis) Griner of Boswell, IN; one brother, Gary (Deb) Trueblood of Attica, IN; six grandchildren, Cole Braden, Emma Gullquist, Audra Gullquist, Clay Trueblood, Mathew Trueblood, and Mason Trueblood, three great-grandchildren, Berklee & Greta Braden and Lawson Trueblood, and three nephews, Noah and Nathan Trueblood and Joe Sheehan.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
David was a lifelong farmer. He also worked at FMC in Hoopeston for over 30 years until they closed. He enjoyed watching Purdue Basketball and taking his 69 Camaro to car shows.
A visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Anderson Funeral Home 427 E. Main St. Hoopeston, IL. A Graveside Service will follow the visitation and begin at 12:30 P.M. at Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston, IL.
