Mike Fink, 63, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 3:10 A.M. Wednesday December 15, 2021, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. He was born September 28, 1958, in Danville, IN, the son of Ivan Fink Sr. and Eugenia (Lawrence) Fink.
He is survived by one sister, Alice Fink of Hoopeston, IL; one brother, Ivan Fink Jr of Arcola, IL.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister-in-law, Cheryl Jacobs.
Mike worked at Howard’s in Milford and later worked at Fairfield Manufacturing in Lafayette, IN, as an inspector for many years. He was a member of the Hoopeston Historical Society and was an avid Civil War enthusiast. His hobbies included collecting coins, sword collecting and stamp collecting. Mike also enjoyed visiting with his friends.
A visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Wednesday December 22, 2021, at Anderson Funeral Home 427 E. Main St. Hoopeston, IL. The funeral service will follow the visitation and will begin at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday December 22, 2021, at the funeral home with Clint Fink officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston.
