Tammy Irene Moore, 57, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 7:40 P.M. Monday May 2, 2022, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. She was born September 25, 1964, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Chapman and Mollie (Petty) Jones. She married Scott Moore in Paxton, IL. He survives in Hoopeston.
She is also survived by her mother, Mollie Jones of Hoopeston, IL; two sons, Greg Longfellow of Hoopeston, IL and James Robert “Jim Bob” Longfellow of Paxton, IL; two sisters, Donna (Jim) Pierce and Mary (Wally) Gilonske; two brothers, Bobby (Sharon) Jones and Woodrow “Butch” Jones (Mary Mortensen); one brother-in-law, Glen Ferrell; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Audrey, Brody, and Sophi; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; two sisters, Toni and Anna; four brothers, Tommy, Junior, Joey, and Johnny; and one brother-in-law, Jim Pierce.
Tammy was a homemaker. She enjoyed shopping, visiting with friends, and watching soap operas. She will always be remembered for her ability to make people laugh.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and no services will be held.
