Pamela E. "Pam" Bell, 80, of Rossville

Pamela E. “Pam” Bell, 80, of Rossville, IL, passed away at 2:05 P.M. Thursday June 30, 2022, at Carle Hoopeston Regional Health Center. She was born April 8, 1942, in Danville, IL, the daughter of James Kenneth Bell I and Iona Maxine Boehme. 

She is survived by two step-sisters, Bonnie Mead of Hoopeston, IL and Carol (Jack) Clements of Zionsville, IN; one step-brother, Kenny Barrick of Hoopeston, IL; and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Eric Bell; one brother, Jim Bell; one sister-in-law, Marge Barrick; and one brother-in-law, Jim Mead. 

Pam worked at the Rossville Post Office doing their cleaning. She was a member of the Alvin Church of God. She was also a member of the Rossville American Legion Auxiliary, the Red Hats Society, and had served as a past Vice President of the Rossville Community Organization. Pam enjoyed bowling, working crossword puzzles, doing cross stitch, and visiting with friends and neighbors. 

The visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Wednesday July 6, 2022, at Anderson Funeral Home 427 E. Main St. Hoopeston, IL. The funeral service will follow the visitation and will begin at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Mann’s Chapel Cemetery in rural Rossville.
