Debra Jean Hollen, 67, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 3:46 A.M. Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. She was born August 24, 1954, in Watseka, IL, the daughter of George and Lyda Bess (Kennedy) Pierce. She married Michael Hollen on December 5, 1975, in Watseka, IL. He survives in Hoopeston. 

She is also survived by one daughter, Erin Hollen of Tampa, FL; one son, Tyson Hollen of Hoopeston, IL; one sister, Edith Fisher of Stuttgart, AR; and one brother, Dale Pierce of Crimea, Ukraine. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Milton Pierce. 

Debra worked at Howard Industries and then at Schumacher Electric in Hoopeston. She later worked at Hoopeston Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the Milford Christian Church. Debra enjoyed reading, visiting Arkansas, and spending time with her family. 

Cremation rites will be accorded, and no services will be held. 

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
