Randy Lee Richards, 59, of Champaign, IL, formerly of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 8:42 P.M. Sunday July 3, 2022, at his home. He was born September 23, 1962, in Danville, IL, the son of Larry Richards, Sr. and Connie (Bishop) Cramer.  

He is survived by his companion of 26 years, Sharon McCarty of Milford, IL; his step-father, Ray “Pops” Cramer; his children, Sarah (Cory) Fletcher of Hoopeston, IL, Jamie (Amy) McCarty of Texas, Shane McCarty of Rankin, IL, and Ashton (Cheyenne) Milner of Oklahoma; one sister, Robbin Richards; two brothers, Scott Cramer and Rob Richards; 6 grandchildren, Kylee and Brandon Fletcher, Jack, Deacon, and Londyn McCarty, and Heather Milner; one great-granddaughter, Charlie McCarty; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Connie Cramer; his father, Larry Richards, Sr., and one brother, Larry Richards, Jr. 

Randy worked at Vermilion Iron for several years. He enjoyed fishing, tattooing, and socializing with his friends. 

Per his wishes, he will be cremated, and a service will be held at a later date.
