Daniel Lee “Booner” Allison, Jr., 64, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 12:25 P.M. Thursday January 19, 2023, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. He was born May 20, 1958, in Danville, IL, the son of Daniel Lee Allison and Dorothy J. (Huckleby) Allison, Sr. His mother survives in Hoopeston.
He is also survived by five sons, Daniel (Kristin) Allison III of Bourbonnais, IL, Tyler Allison of New Orleans, LA, Cole (Julie) Muench of St. Joseph, IL, Zack (Brittany) Muench of Jacksonville, NC, and Nate ( Allie) Allison of Hoopeston, IL; one sister, Kim (Randy) Tatro of Watseka, IL; six grandchildren, Issac, Eli, and Aylee Allison, Everleigh and Lennox Allison, and Zaelyn Muench; and several nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Martha Huckleby; his paternal grandparents, Elvis and Lois Allison; and several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Tuesday January 24, 2023, at Anderson Funeral Home, 427 E. Main St. Hoopeston, IL. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday January 25, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston.
