Sandra Winters, 75, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 1:46 P.M. Friday January 20, 2023, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. She was born November 10, 1947, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Charles and Myrtle “Laura” (Warner) Winters, Sr. They preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Michael Winters of Hoopeston, IL; three brothers, Leroy (Sharon) Winters of Danville, IL, Raymond (Virginia) Winters of Danville, IL, and Jack (Barb) Winters of Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by three sisters, Myrtle Dilley, Beverly Mariage, and Charlotte Racz; and two brothers, Charles Winters, Jr. and Henry Winters.
Sandra was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo, going mushroom hunting, and playing with her dogs.
A visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Friday January 27, 2023, at Anderson Funeral Home, 427 E. Main St. Hoopeston, IL. The funeral service will follow the visitation and will begin at 12:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Gundy Cemetery in rural Bismarck, IL.
