Dennis Lee Gonzalez, 68, of Rossville, IL, passed away at 9:47 A.M. Friday March 31, 2023, at his home. He was born November 8, 1954, in Danville, IL, the son of Arthur Lee and Bonnie Lou (Bennett) Gonzalez. They preceded him in death.  

He is survived by two sisters, Deanna Misner and Gail Jones; three nieces, Emily (Ben) Catron, Rachael Gonzalez, and Kendra (John) Keenan; and three nephews, Johnny (Lindsey) Bray, Tyler Misner, and Reagan Gonzalez. 

In addition to his parents, Dennis was also preceded in death by his brother, Dana Gonzalez and two brothers-in-law, Terry Misner and Chapman Junior Jones. 

Dennis previously worked at EB Collins Auto Parts and then at FMC in Hoopeston until its closing. He later worked at ConAgra until his retirement. He enjoyed reading and building model trains. 

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday April 10, 2023, at Mann’s Chapel Cemetery in rural Rossville.  

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
