Richard James “Bud” Fouse, Jr., 57, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 6:23 P.M. Monday March 27, 2023, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. He was born July 7, 1965, in West Chester, PA, the son of Richard James Fouse, Sr. and Maria Louise (Torres) Fouse. They preceded him in death.
He is survived by his fiancée, Jamie (Wallace) Smith of Hoopeston, IL; two daughters, Kaitlyn Smith and Kira Coon both of Hoopeston, IL; two sisters, Barb Arms of Fowler, IN and Tammy Fouse of Hoopeston, IL; seven nieces and nephews, James Fouse (Tomi Nugent), Chelsie Fouse, Roger Dale Arms, Brandon Arms, Jessica Arms, Ashley Arms, and Ryan Wilson.
In addition to his parents his was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Roma and Leota Fouse and David and Rosetta Torres; one sister, Sandra Dee Fouse; one niece, Fay Marie Wilson; and one nephew, Todd Wilson, Jr.
Richard previously worked at Vermilion Iron, ConAir, and Toll Packaging before working at McLane Midwest in Danville for ten years. He enlisted in the Army National Guard of Indiana and served active duty for four years during Desert Storm. He enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking in his garage, and tinkering around with cars. Richard collected Nascar cars and was an avid hat collector.
A visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Tuesday April 11, 2023, at Anderson Funeral Home, 427 E. Main St. Hoopeston, IL. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday April 12, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston. Military rites will be accorded by the Hoopeston American Legion Post #384.
