Bruce Alan Hedgecock, 65, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 6:10 P.M. Wednesday May 30, 2023, at his home. He was born March 8, 1958, in Danville, IL, the son of Byron and Darlene (Larrabee) Hedgecock.

He is survived by two sons, Jason (Karyanna) Hedgecock of Rossville, IL and Alan Hedgecock of Clinton, IN; five grandchildren, Kylie Sabillón and Gracelynn, Elleannah, Legend, and Lillyan Hedgecock; and a special cousin, Phil Bailey, who was like a brother to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bruce worked at Schumacher’s and later at Eagle Wings in Rantoul for over twenty years until his retirement. He was a member of the Hoopeston Community Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed woodworking and had a love for cars and tinkering in his garage.

A visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Monday June 5, 2023, at the Hoopeston Community Church of the Nazarene, 402 E. Honeywell Ave., Hoopeston, IL. The funeral service will follow the visitation and will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Monday at the church. Burial will follow in Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston.
