Jayne M. Birch, 58, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 4:00 P.M. Friday June 2, 2023, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. She was born July 21, 1964, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Virgil and Betty (Foster) Cook. She married Richard “Rick” Birch on November 13, 1987, in Watseka, IL. He survives in Hoopeston.

She is also survived by one son, Richard “Ricky” Birch II (Mara) of Wellington, IL; two grandchildren, Aurora and Rhett Birch; and several sisters, brothers, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Jayne worked as a pharmacy tech for many years. She later worked at Casey’s in Hoopeston and most recently worked as customer support for Walgreens corporate office. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.

Cremation rites will be accorded, and no services will be held.
