Connie Jo Douglas, 60, of Rossville, IL, passed away at 2:23 P.M. Tuesday December 31, 2024, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. She was born November 25, 1964, in Watseka, IL, the daughter of Dearul and Marguerite (Bogard) Huckleby. She married Dale Douglas on October 7, 2000, at the Kennekuk Chapel in Danville, IL. He survives in Rossville, IL.
She is also survived by one daughter, Lindsey R. Trimble of Rossville, IL; two sisters, Debbie (George) Watson of Hoopeston, IL and Janet (Jim) Bivans of Hoopeston, IL; one brother, Harlie R. (Angie) Huckleby of Hoopeston, IL; three grandchildren, Mia Gillis, and Samuel and Abel Lane; five nieces and nephews, Kenneth Dale II, Joshua Bivans, Megan Lane, Britany Huckleby, Madison Huckleby, and many wonderful step nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
Connie was a homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, wood burning, and riding 4-wheelers and motorcycles. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Tuesday January 7, 2025, at Anderson Funeral Home, 427 E. Main St., Hoopeston, IL. The funeral service will follow the visitation and will begin at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mann’s Chapel in rural Rossville, IL.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Connie to Cancer Research or Hoopeston Animal Rescue Team (H.A.R.T.).
