Rosalynn Amarah “Rosy” Nichols, the 3-year-old daughter of John David and Ariel Nicole Nichols of Hoopeston, IL, was received into God’s arms at 1:06 A.M. Tuesday January 7, 2025, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born September 28, 2021, in Urbana, IL.
She is survived by her sister, Ryleigh Evelynn Nichols; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins, Kayla (Breyan) Peterson, Gabriel, Noah, Isaiah, Naomi, Aurora, Gideon, Joshua (Kayla) Nichols, Averie, Silas, and Laura (Randall).
Rosalynn touched many lives even with the challenges she faced. She and her family competed in the 5K Hope for HIE to help raise awareness and her family plans to continue that tradition in her memory. Rosalynn was the sweetest, most adorable baby ever and brought joy to many people.
A visitation will be held 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. Monday January 13, 2025, at Anderson Funeral Home, 427 E. Main St., Hoopeston, IL.
