Kathie Anne Longfellow, 75, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 12:47 P.M. Saturday February 8, 2025, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. She was born June 11, 1949, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Henry “Ike” and Margaret Rose “Maggie” (Fleming) Keeton. She married Elvin Lee Longfellow on February 24, 2008, at their home. He survives in Hoopeston.
She is also survived by two sons, Andrew (Wendy Edwards) Fink and Dustin (Kassandra) Fink all of Hoopeston, IL; one sister, Barbara (Terry) Morgan of Hoopeston, IL; one grandchild, Khelben Fink; one niece, Lea Morgan; and two nephews, Matthew (Gina) Morgan and Quentin (Mary) Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Kathie worked at Pilsbury, which later became Hoopeston Foods, for over twenty years until her retirement. She enjoyed working in her garden, caring for her flowers, playing poker, and dancing. She also enjoyed traveling, attending music concerts, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and a service will be held at a later date.
