Kenneth R. Byerly, Sr., 73, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 9:57 A.M. Monday, August 11, 2025, at his home. He was born on March 19, 1952, in Danville, IL, the son of Everett and Mary (Phillips) Byerly. He married Hester Weber on December 2, 1978, in Hoopeston. She survives.

He is also survived by one son, Kenny Byerly Jr. of Hoopeston, IL and one sister, Connie Lovell of Danville, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Linda Foster; and four brothers, Robert, Ronnie, Everett James, and Richard Byerly.

Kenneth drove the migrant bus in Hoopeston and cared for his family. He loved antique cars and collecting model cars and clowns. He enjoyed going out to eat with his family, shopping, and working outside, especially mowing his yard.  The love of Kenneth’s life was his family, and he especially enjoyed helping his son, Kenny.
