Terry F. Morgan, 68, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, I. He was born April 16, 1957, in Danville, IL, the son of Felix and Louise (Tharp) Morgan. He married Barbara Keeton on July 10, 1976, at Mann’s Chapel in Rossville, IL. She survives in Hoopeston.
He is also survived by one daughter, Lea Marie Morgan of Hoopeston, IL; two sons, Matthew (Gina) Morgan of Danville, IL and Quentin (Mary) Morgan of Hoopeston, IL; one sister, Brenda (Gary) Weinard of Hoopeston, IL; seven grandchildren, Ryan Morgan, Ashley Morgan, Malia Delaney, Kaycee Weber, Gage Kenner, Grant Morgan, and Grace Morgan; four great-grandchildren, Kylie Means, Beckett Crisp, Harlow Delaney, and Ellstyn Delaney; and two nephews, Kevin (Rhonda) Weinard and Brian Weinard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Louise Morgan.
Terry was a long-time farmer, retiring in 2019. He dedicated nearly forty years to Rossville-Alvin School District as a school bus driver and previously served as president of the school board. He also served as a former pastor of Chestnut Street Church of Christ in Hoopeston and previously volunteered as a Little League Baseball coach. Terry had a special way with people and loved leading them to the Lord. The greatest joy of Terry’s life was his family, especially his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Friday, September 19, 2025, at Anderson Funeral Home, 427 E. Main St., Hoopeston, IL. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the funeral home, with Pastor John Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston.
